VIOLENCE AND FORGIVENESS: SHANE TAYLOR
3 years ago, Shane Taylor was a guest at the 2020 RealLives event. Shane Taylor was considered to be one of the most dangerous prisoners in British jails. Originally jailed for attempted murder he had his sentence extended by four years after he attacked a prison officer with a broken glass in an incident that started a prison riot.

The Host - Glen Scrivener

Glen will be with us for the whole week interviewing our guests and speaking. He is an accomplished writer and speaker and is the director of Speaklife, an organisation which focuses on proclamation and media. Glen is married to Emma, and they have a daughter, Ruby and son, JJ.

Format of Events

Lunchtime events will be from 1:05pm to 1.55pm. A light lunch will be provided for you to enjoy whilst listening to the interview and short talk.

Except for Saturday, evening events will be from 7.30pm to 9.15pm. There will be drinks and nibbles which will be included in the price of the ticket followed by the interview and short talk.

Saturday evening will be from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and will include performance by Blessing Annatoria.

There will be a book stall and the opportunity to ask questions.
